OTTAWA (CIS) – Canadian Interuniversity Sport proudly announced Tuesday a multi-year agreement with ArcelorMittal Dofasco.

OTTAWA (CIS) – Canadian Interuniversity Sport proudly announced Tuesday a multi-year agreement with ArcelorMittal Dofasco.

The long-term partnership, effective immediately, sees ArcelorMittal Dofasco become the title sponsor for both women’s and men’s CIS basketball championships, the Mitchell Bowl national football semi-final and the CIS athletes of the week program.

The 2014 ArcelorMittal Dofasco CIS men’s basketball championship gets under way Friday, March 7, in Ottawa, while the women’s competition is set to begin March 14 in Windsor, Ont. Both tournaments will showcase the very best of Canadian university basketball in an exciting final 8 single-elimination format.
