The planned maintenance shutdown of our KOBM Steelmaking facility is scheduled for Sunday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 17.

In order to minimize hot metal production during this period, our three Blast Furnaces will operate at reduced levels through a combination of shutdowns and rotating outages. Operating personnel will use best operating practices to minimize any visible emissions that may result.  The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change has been notified of these activities.
