Earlier today, beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m., our Utilities division experienced a power interruption.

As a result, a safety valve was released to manage steam pressure in one of four high pressure boilers, unfortunately causing elevated noise levels at irregular intervals (due to the steam release). The incident has been reported to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.

Power has been restored to the system and teams have reset the safety valve to normal conditions.
