We’ve developed and designed ultra-advanced steel that’s transforming the design, performance and sustainability of autos – helping today’s vehicles meet aggressive new standards for fuel efficiency. It’s a contribution that will make a lasting impact for generations.

We’re also behind stronger, safer and more sustainable buildings. We continue to formulate steel that is lighter, improving an already superior strength-to-weight ratio for more efficient and effective structures. Lighter and stronger steel is also making construction easier – requiring less energy to move and assemble, and needing less extensive foundations. The result is stunning design, performance and sustainability.

Through art, sport and cultural support, we also inspire and encourage people to chase their dreams. Contributing our steel for the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Cauldron was a proud moment in our storied history. We helped ignite the competitive spirit that brought the best athletes from 41 countries to our backyard. That is a once-in-a-lifetime legacy. But we are also behind our youngest athletes, making a free local soccer program available for more than 500 children in central Hamilton. Not only are these kids playing again, they are doing it in a world class stadium, Tim Hortons Field, the same field that will welcome the 2016 ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier Cup, Canada’s national university football championship.
