We are proud to take part in Bell Canada’s Let’s Talk today, reinforcing our company’s commitment to mental health by engaging with our team on the resources and programming available to them and their families.

Katrina Let's Talk

Our award winning approach to workplace mental health was recognized in 2014 by Excellence Canada, and is available to all employees through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is a confidential self-referral service that connects employees and their family members to mental health professionals. The program is available at no cost, and covers a range of mental healthcare services from counseling to addiction support.

Beyond our walls, in the city we’ve called home since 1912, we are standing with those suffering from mental health issues through investments in both adult and children’s care. At St. Joseph Healthcare’s West 5th Campus, our investment is building stronger mental health services for 2.5 million people in Hamilton and South Central Ontario, and our recently announced investment in the Child and Youth Outpatient Mental Health Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital, is significantly enhancing support for the children suffering in our area.

Government, private sector and individuals all have a role to play. If you’re looking for what you can do, start by watching Bell’s videos below or join the conversation at #Let’sTalk.
