We want to be an active and welcomed member of the community. Our contributions include granting, volunteering, leadership and resources. It is a mix of these abilities and energies that makes a difference.
We recognize our responsibility not only to our people but also the communities in which we operate. We do this by:
- Investing in our communities – Each year we make key grant investments in our local communities through the Corporate Community Investment Fund (CCIF). We believe that every financial investment made helps to build a stronger future for the communities in which we operate. The result is a stronger more vibrant community that benefits everyone through a stronger social and economic environment.
- Supporting employee giving - Since WWII, our employees have voluntarily donated a portion of their paycheck to local causes through the Employee Donation Fund. Over the last 70 years, our people have raised $40 million for local organizations.
- Volunteering our time – Our employees donate their time and talents to dozens of events each year through Team Orange. Volunteers can often be seen in their bright orange shirts helping our various community partners at events like local races, building homes and food drives. Many also sit on local boards and committees.
