Indaten™ is a cold rolled weathering steel that combines atmospheric corrosion resistance and structural strength. Designed for exterior building panels and roofing without metallic or organic coatings; it is easily roll formed into a variety of profiles. Over time, the steel surface develops a unique purplish-brown, finely grained patina when exposed to alternating wet and dry outdoor weather conditions in a non-aggressive environment.
Advantages:
- Raw, attractive, aesthetic appearance
- Evolving patina, blending with natural and urban environments
- No need to re-protect surface, no painting costs
- Minimal maintenance
- Easy to process with the same tooling and equipment as structural steels
- No additional processing or equipment costs
